Featured artist Matthew Lowe, an artist who specialises in vectors.
Having experimented with many different styles of art, Matthew soon realised that he loved to work with vectors.
His inspiration mainly comes from old, classic, 80’s film masterpieces that he grew up with and has since come to love, especially gory cheese fests from directors such as Lucio Fulci (The Beyond, Zombie Flesh Eaters) and George A. Romero (Creepshow, Dawn of the Dead).
But his main inspiration comes from his brother, who is also a skilled artist. While growing up Matthew was always in awe watching him create awesome pieces of art. First attempts to follow in his footsteps weren’t a success. That was until Matthew first got hold of a copy of Adobe Illustrator and created his very first vector. Ever since that day he knew that vectors were the art form for him, and he continues to perfect his style.
In fact, over the past year or so his work has rapidly gotten a lot cleaner. So much so that he’s even started selling his work after some advice from his tattoo artist!
